January 12 – 14, 2007

Bahia Mar Beach Resort
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A.

Dear Colleague,

As president of the IACFS, I would like to invite you to the 8th International IACFS Conference on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and other Related Illnesses January 12-14 2007. We received a record number of abstracts, and can promise a conference with the latest research, clinical updates and novel features sure to guarantee new knowledge, new collaborations, and enthusiasm for this field.

The core sessions open with opening talks which look at new methodologies and treatments in related fields that could advance our field, followed by original work selected from a rich group of submitted abstracts, and close with “state of the science” lectures in CFS/ME/CFS. Each session attempts to integrate knowledge across disciplines as it relates to the illness and its manifestations.

You will see many new faces, and internationally recognized speakers and participants. It is a time to discuss research approaches, clinical care, and network with colleagues. You will find the IACFS has grown and is truly an international organization. Review our Conference Agenda (www.IACFS.net) and you will see the extraordinary progress in the field, with sessions looking at the work going on in Japan, Europe, and across the globe.

All this, in sunny South Florida, at a beach resort, in January! I welcome you to my home town, and urge you to register today!

Sincerely
Nancy Klimas, MD

Thank you very much, Barbara

The LAYMEN'S GUIDE TO THE 8th IACFS CONFERENCE provided by PHOENIX RISING: A CFS/FMS NEWSLETTER by Cort Johnson is a very important document and we have already made a selected translation in the forum.
I think there is not so many researches about CFIDS but the only ones must be known wolrdwide.
This is why it's so important keeping in touch, ( and because it' s so fine too... :) )

Grazie mille Barbara
